Welcome to the Stage Tracey. The weather changes, fish migrate to their winter homes, other fish pass through. It's the nature of the ocean.

Tracey, Unless things have changed over the years, Winter fishing suckes off the pier. Head to the surf off Seaside beach. On a side note, the squidding should be picking up off the pier and last through the winter. Remember, squidding is a night fishing thing.
