I vote all of the above, there are no red snapper in ours, yours, or theirs, State waters. here in SC., they are at the least 30 to 60 miles offshore in federal waters, so when you go out to catch yours and sneak back into state waters make sure you tell them you caught them with in 3 miles of the shoreline and you would be legal. Good luck with that. LETS GO GETTUM

It will cross your mind when you catch one out of season. Which was only 2 days this year.

It was Mike. Just would like them to give us a longer season. If I'm not wrong I believe the commercial guys can fish until December with no size limit. I'll check on that statement and get back.

In Idaho we can only keep 1 chinook per day, it has to be caught with a barbless hook and several other hindrances, if it's not caught in the mouth (snagged) it has to be turned loose. The Native America (Shoshone Bannock) can use what ever method which is a predominately the grapple hook and trot lines set across the river, just don't seem fair..
