Hey all. New to the forum - obviously - and thought I'd introduce myself.
I live in the South Jacksonville area and mostly fish out of St. Augustine and Jax Beach. Most of my experience is bottom fishing wrecks and reefs in blue water and trolling for Dolphin in South Florda but I've recently started embracing the more laidback inshore fishing style. Mostly going for Reds, Flounder and Snapper. Really enjoying fishing the flats and grass along the intercoastal. Been using Jigs with soft artificial minnows, Carolina rig and popping corks with live shrimp. Haven't had much luck except for some Mango Snappers, and Ian has churned up the water around here. Hoping my next outing will have more tight lines! Any advice for fishing these waters would be much appreciated. Glad to be aboard.
