My 85 yo neighbor drew a cow Moose tag in the Chewelah area near Spokane WA. He had both of his adult sons and son in law. he shot his Moose at 375 yards with a 7mm, second shot dropped the animal. He has put in for the last 15 years. His name is John and he and I retired as volunteer firefighters this year. He had over 30 years as a volunteer. I only hope to still be hunting at 85.

Congratulations John! I've only seen 2 in person in my lifetime, not including the zoo. BIG CRITTERS. Thanks for the report Russ, and give your brother an attaboy.

Good for you Jim. At least you're still getting after it. When my dad was still with us, we would get him in the boat then launch it. I hope someone is helping you to do the same.
