Fished another small lake today. Major algae bloom throughout entire lake. Water temp 58, visibility not even 1 ft. Interesting lake similar to the one I fished a couple days ago in the sense of big fat fish, but far & few between. Popular trout and salmon lake, so you know these fatties are feasting well. Brought a friend… Half fish came on a Chatterbait and other half on the Fat Ika. All fish released to fight again. Tight lines to all.

It’s a really cool little plastic bait. I think the bass think it’s a crawdad of some kind. Multiple ways to rig it totally weedless. I like to flip it in heavy brush. Pumpkin with red flake is my favorite. Tim, just check them out on line and the various ways to rig them, personally, I like the tentacles on top. I think you’ll catch fish on them 👍

Nice job JB. That Trout diet is really working for them. Thanks for the pictures buddy.

Great bass JB, is the way they are bulking up a sign of the Winter we will soon be facing? 🤔

That’s outstanding. The 56 degree water temp in NJ increased to 64 degrees yesterday with no algae bloom because of an aerator in the park lake.
