Long Weekend

It's Friday afternoon and I have a four day weekend from school. The teachers have to be there Tuesday but us staff that are not teachers get the day off. So my lovely wife and I have the four days off. My goal is to take out the rest of our potted garden and annuals. And spend some time with my mom at the rehab facility where she's been since her pacemaker was put in last Friday. Maybe throw in a BBQ since winter is around the corner.

Oh, I guess it was alright, but you don't want to go into the education field to make money, or you will be disappointed big time!

Try the newspaper biz, which barely exists anymore, to keep you poor and humble. That's right, 30 years in newspapers, that's why I'm still working as a caregiver to pay bills.

I've completed a couple goals today. I helped my cousin's husband take and load the last of mom's furniture. The house is ready for the new owner to move in. I cleared out the garden, potted plants, and annuals. Exterior is ready for winter. Ordering pizza in an hour. Have a great evening all.
