I'm a 70 year old retired veteran that is just getting back into fishing. I live in the Eugene area, but travel around the state in my fifth-wheel on occasion.

I have fished at the head waters of Rogue where it comes out of lost creek lake. Caught plenty of salmon there.

Thanks Jeremy. How close were you to the lake? Which of the parks along there would be good to try? Also, we're you bank fishing, drift boat, or ??? And how did you rig up, and what is best bait to use?

Combat fishing at the Dam. Lost Creek Lake Concrete metal and corkies/egg they bite anything up there.

It’s been 25 years since I did it. I am trying to remember if it’s a fall or Spring run. I just looked at Google maps. I think it’s right up below dam or hatchery. Maybe a local from southern Oregon will chime in. I will be rolling North tomorrow from Modesto. Maybe can meet at least for a hand shake. My boats are up in Sandy way north or I could take you fishing. Rogue has some great Salmon. Lost creek Lake had good trout fishing when I went there every summer 25 years ago.
