Don't know why but I'm wide awake. Thought I'd start things off today.

Grandpa's advice to children:

When your mom is mad at your dad, don't let her brush your hair.

If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person.

You can't trust the dog to watch your food.

Try as you might, you can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.

The best place to be when you're sad is grandpa's lap.

Good morning everyone, finally going to be a nice one today after 5 days of rain and wind. Think I may have to wet a line. Hope everyone has a great day!

G-mornin knuckleheads. Slept in a bit. Off to work soon. 46 now. Sunny and 76 later. Caught a few very small bass lately and crappie. Nothing worth a pic

Plumbob, many years ago as a young man, had a very affectionate girlfriend who had a dream to make love on horseback. Plum wasn't too sure he could accomplish that task without falling off the horse. Finally, the big day came. Plum was ready and they found the right horse to seal the deal.

Things we're going great until the manager of Wal Mart came out and unplugged the horse.

Tight lines B and assorted angling humanoids. Make it count.

Morning, Ed, and all of the Stagers that have stepped up or will soon step up on the Stage.

51*/58*, a little rain coming through, then cloudy the rest of the day. A cold front coming threw supposedly with a killing frost. I hope so, I'm sick of picking berries. I will pick the last of them this morning, then I will cut them down in a few days and leave the stalks on top of the stumps of the berries so that when their drop their berries, they will reseed.

I brought the pontoon home yesterday. I should have looked on the Internet about how to use a scissors trailer before I went down. I backed the trailer into the water, got into the pontoon, drove it up and into the trailer, got out of the toon and I was going to hook the winch to the front of the toon, and no hook. O.K., what's the deal here? There was a winch with a cable on the front of the trailer, but no cable with a hook in which to hook on the front of the toon and snug it up to the pontoon stops. I would snug the toon up to the stops and drive the pickup forward and the toon would slip back on the trailer. I ended up tying a heavy tow rope to the winch and the front of the pontoon, which kept it fairly tight to the stops, and then strapped it down to the trailer in the tie-down area. I looked up on the internet how to load a pontoon when I got home. Hindsight is so clear. Dah!

Good luck with your rods, guys.

Have a good one, boys and girls.

Thanks Terry and Greg. It's clear up here on the hill, but 2 towns away its pea soup. Just saw a wreck on I-84 (where I'm heading) that you can't see the police lights through the fog. I believe I'll take my time getting on the road. Always pictures of something Greg.
