Visitor to the area end of October with a house on the water. I like to spend some time casting from the shore. No big ambitions , just like to catch a little something and pass some pleasant time. Any tips for me? I have a small travel rod, lots of tackle but can swing by a local shop.
Mackeral are said to leave by the end of October. Most people like to use a 2" Kastmaster or diamond jig. I prefer a single hook. Good luck. Post a report if you get lucky.
