So, todays plan was to attempt to catch a couple big largemouths. Sometimes one gets lucky, and the plan comes together. Smaller lake but healthy trout population. My two biggest went 7.1 and 6.3, which are really nice northern strain largemouth for these high mountain lakes. All fish released to live another day in this crystal clear lake. Oh, as you can tell, I think they like eating trout😁

Nice Pigs there JB. How deep are those crankbaits running? Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

That’s a really cool little bait. With 8 lb fluoro I can get down about 14 ft. I was fishing deep rocky bluffs, and was using the forward live sonar to find the edge that butts up to sand. I like to get the bill digging into it… and pause… I’m sure they think it’s a crawdad digging

Oh my JB, those are some beasts Anywhere! Certainly well surpassed my panfish catch today.
