Is it possible to catch Brown Trout in Miller Lake in early October. I've been fishing in Oregon for 60 years and have never been Brown Trout fishing. I was told Miller Lake was a great spot but they didn't know about this time of year. Can someone out there help an old man?
While I have not fished there, I have a buddy who does, and he has a high opinion of the catching there. This time of year Browns will be deep as they go after the Kokanee. According to the ODFW report, the road into Miller is pretty awful, so be careful if you are pulling a boat or have a really nice vehicle that isn't 4-wheel or such. Good luck !
Miller lake is a great place to fish I have fished it often I have caught my fair number of rainbow trout there I have yet to hookup with a brown trout I am to belive that thay are more of a night bit than day bit but it's a tough drive but a pretty lake good luck
Great place to catch rainbows. Lots of mosquitoes.
