AC...seems like everytime I fish Clear Lake at some point the wind comes on strong. One day, I got my lunch out, cast my pole in and let the wind blow me across the bay. Three bass later I had a new fishing technique that almost always draws a couple of bank pounders out to watch me catch fish. Lol. Pure luck I discovered trolling for bass.

It was crazy to me also but my buddy has been doing it all week going from Island 🏝 to Island and along the Dam then bangs the banks. It is a shallow Reservoir , the depth is from 2ft to may 20 feet and varies all over the Reservoir you really have to use your electronics.
I'm really surprised that there are Smallmouth in the in the lake.
Good luck fishing 🎣 love Clear lake I have fished it twice.
