We did and we missed you Whitey. I'm not sure about that temperature though. I'd rather get wet when its 90°, than 50°or 60°, especially when you throw in 10-15mph wind. It was raw for a while there. When Al and Slim went out this morning it was about 43°, and foggy. We found a lot of fish deep, but except for a few panfish, nothing we threw got their attention.

Rain o didn't know it rained on y'all. Better luck next time 🤪

Yeah, not a ton of rain, but enough to get you wet a couple times. Twice the forecasted wind, and about half the forecasted sun. It was more like late fall weather. Not unbearable, but far from ideal. There was an hour or 2 every day that was nice, at a different time every day. We still had fun though.

Another fun, (in spite of the weather), M&G is over. Thanks again to Slim,(Terry) and his wife Dee for hosting our little get together. Fishing was tough, but we scared up a few, most of the time. Even when we weren't catching, we were having fun. Congratulations to Terry, for catching the biggest fish of the week, a nice 2.25lb Largemouth. I'm just gonna post some random pictures for you guys.

Sounds like another good time with friends and fishing is in the book’s, Fred. But it sounds like the fish just didn’t want to cooperate. You guys will get um next time… 🐟on

Looks like you boys had a great time Fred, sorry I missed the event. Would have been great to meet, fish and BS with you all. Hopefully the stars and planets will all align next year.

Nice pics Fred. Wish I lived closer, I'd love to join you guys. I'm hoping to get back to fishing Tuesday and Wednesday if the weather cooperates.

Yeah Dave, we had a ball, outside of catching. We didn't see any locals doing much either, so we weren't alone. Warmer temps next time.

Did you see any bald eagles at Bald Eagle State Park?

We did Brad. We missed you again, as well as Whitey and Jason. We're gonna try for a little closer to the warm weather next year. Hoping to avoid the windy cold rain that we hit both times this year. Keep an eye on the END of June, to the BEGINNING of September, next year.

Thanks Greg. You are always welcome to join us buddy. It's not that far, similar to your SC trip. Good luck when you get back out, but meanwhile have fun in Virginia. I see the weather has passed. We're still getting rain from the outer band.

I didn't this time. Saw Ospreys, Ravens, Herons, and some small, Tern like gulls. Much of the daytime hours were pretty breezy, so not great flying weather.

What Fred didn’t tell you guys is that he had hold of a nice one that ran under the boat 3 times and took drag then just spit the hook. Didn’t get to see it but I’m sure it was a nice one. Went over town last night for a couple minutes and on the way home right below the house was a bald eagle sitting in a tree.

That one has haunted me in my dreams the last 2 nights buddy. She has gotten bigger in my mind every night.
