Fishing Report on Percy Quinn State Park lake, McComb, MS

Got on the water about 10 minutes after daybreak and began fishing right away. We tried plastics, crank baits, spinnerbaits, and top water baits of all colors. Didn't get the first bite! The other fishermen on the lake all said the same thing. Hate being skunked, but we seemed to be in good company. Everyone says it will get better when we begin getting some true fall weather. Sure hope so. If anyone has any good tips about this lake in Percy Quinn State Park, please share.
We hope to take a trip to Bayou Pigeon in the Atchafalaya Basin (Louisiana) next week. Maybe we'll do better there. Will post to let all know how it goes.
