Where are the spots in Tampa,Fl.?!?

I have been hunting every chance I get for a productive fishing spot at piers, shores or bridges here in Tampa Bay... It seems like the accessible spots are either over-fished or if not all there is are saltwater catfish, bonnet head sharks (smaaalll ) or fish that are just too small to keep.
Anybody care to share a hotspot with this ol'salt?

Ladson Park in St. Petersburg, East Beach at Ft. Desoto, West Beach at Ft. Desoto, the mangrove shoreline going out to Ft. Desoto all are good places to fish. Just remember snook, reds and trout are all catch and release now. The sand holes in these areas hold some good flounder too. I have done good on the flounder one gulp new penny shrimp on a jig head slowly dragging them through the sand

Sooo many spots! Tryed Johns Pass bridge and the docks just inside? Check out rest area just before Skyway bridge, wade the to the west and all the way back north to Dick Misener bridge! Lots of folks fish the bridge just before Fort Desoto park too. Summer time sharks and catfish thick when slow tides expected. Go more often around full and new moon fast tides for better catch`! Check out Dylan`s fishing report at Hubbard'sMarinafishingnews@hubbardsmarina.com fresh reports from Johns Pass! He is on TV too, fished with the Hubbard`s over 40 years!

Use Google maps and look for estuaries with grass flats connected to open intercoastal. I alsoike those deep flats sand bottoms. These areas need to have some good water flow in the summer to support oxygen and bait. Free line shrimp. The 2nd week of Sept go in the backwater where there are lots of oysters and catch more big drum that you can shake a rod and reel at. Shrimp on the bottom with an 1/2 ounce egg sinker, 2 ft leader. Blessings brother..
