As for your looking for fishing spots hang in here plenty of Jersey folks on here. You can always send someone a PM by going to the user section and type in the area you are after in the find my location section and ask for that particular spot.

NJ219bands Loc: New Jersey

I caught 5 different species of catfish to 10 lb including first place NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Award fish in the Carnegie/Millstone but it is illegal to be there at night. I got verbal warnings for fishing at night there.

Sure thing Mongoose, good timing, i am getting ready to up date the list and get them ready for posting in November.

Rayz Loc: North West N.J. and South Hero Vt.

I think Farrington lake in N.Brunswick has cats. Roosevelt park pond in Edison may have them. You can also look at the NJ Fish and Wildlife website. They list locations by species.

BillGill Loc: Warren County NJ

Delaware & Raritan Canal. Entire length. I like the Zarephath stretch. Rt 287 to Exit 12 puts you on Weston Canal Road. Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Pickerel, Channel cats and Bullheads too. An occasional Walleye and White perch too!
