I've watched a lot of videos where they find and use sand fleas for bait. Unfortunately, I don't recall if any of them are from the Texas Gulf.
Are there sand fleas around PINS or the beaches around Corpus Christi ?

Well they have them on both the right and left coasts. One would think they would have them there on the Gulf as well. However, I don't know for sure.

Hi Mike, I live in Port Aransas. I have heard of sand fleas but I haven’t ever seen one. The bait a lot of surf fishermen use is the Ghost Shrimp. The tackle stores where I live sell a pump to extract them from the surf edge when a wave retreats. Might try using those. Check the regulations if you do because there might be a limit on how many your allowed to catch 😎👍
