That all depends on where you are I use to live in Hayward and fished the southern side around Tracy and there would be days you wanted the wind so it all depends on what part of the Delta you are at remember there are literally a 1000 miles of waterways and 5 rivers that feed the delta

Antioch has 3 piers
2 are down by the the boat ramp
They are spread out I believe a mile or so
And there is one by the bridge
Big break in Oakley also has a pier
Other wise a lot of open space in between just to get a line wet

I always have to check be for going out
Walk out side
Saturday it was nice only 9mph
So that was like a nice breeze
That was out by the Antioch bridge
