Hey!
I finally registered after reading posts all summer, mostly freshwater.(Fred the bassmaster) π But recently some shoreline members have joined so I figured it was time. To the gentlemen who posted that he was new to CT shoreline fishing, looking for info on where to fish for what, etc. Your post said you were leaving out of Barn Island. I live on Quanaduck Cove in Stonington, right sround the corner. Have a couple boats at Dons Dock across the street. Feel free to contact me. Iβd be a happy to give you some pointers on the area. Its a blast! Been hitting a ton of black sea bass in the last month. Flounder relatively non- existent this year. Only a few doormats. Blackfish starts Oct. 10th. π¦ π¦ π¦

This was a real nice sea bass this week. Just under 20β. Lets see if I attached it properly. Lol Iβll send a flounder from this week also which arenβt easy to find this year due to some dredging in the area. Turned up a bunch of sea grass too which is a PITA w/lures. π«€
4-5ft Dogfish was fun fight.
