Carp the last two weekends.

Hook into a 20 pounder,why fish for anything else. First two were last Sat.,16#and 20#,the big FAT one was today,20# and what a GIRTH,shorter than most 20 pounders,but that HOG belly made up for it,man she kept drag stripping..love it!

Finder they are water tanks brother. I was bass fishing n hooks one it the side with a crankbait. If I wasn't in a boat the crankbait would have been gone 👍🎣

I’ve heard smoked carp is fantastic. Haven’t caught one in years—guess I’ll have to make some dough ball & go after some.

I knew a old timer who would take his carp and cats from muddy waters and let them flush out in a tub of fresh water for a couple of days before dispatching them and cleaned them up!
The carp he fed me was ok as well-

That river has big bruisers like that down here in Southern Connecticut too. You have them dialed in nicely, so don't experiment too much , just keep it up.

Got it dialed in to sweet corn and a slice of garlic on a 1/0 circle hook,works very well.
