Long time salmon and steelhead fisherman living on the south fork of the Skykomish River in Western Washington. We just had the Bolt Creek wild fire rip through here and it is still active. I am extremely grateful for the great work done by the firemen and women in protecting the local homes and properties. Unfortunately no coho season this year on the main branch of the Sky, so looking forward to winter steelhead in November, December and January. Tight lines!

Welcome to the Stage Don. Sorry to hear of your lost Coho season, but glad you and yours are safe out there.

I just saw that there was no coho season on the sky last week. I use to fish that regularly but haven't for several years now. use to have healthy runs of Chinook, chum, coho and steelhead sad that some of those runs are severely depleted now hope they can bring them back.
