Greetings all. I would appreciate any help in locating a launch ramp that has a similar device to assist in entry and exit of my 14’ Klamath. I just turned 76 and it’s getting hard to get in and even harder to get out. Thanks a bunch and hope to see you on the water.

As an alternative, could you install a removable type of bar on your craft? Install during pre-launch check and remove once on board? Worth a look into

Jenkinson at Sly Park has some. Others have like a hitchin rack old west style.

I do have a removable device that works well for entry but not exit.

Thanks for your reply

I don't know how close you are to Lake Pardee. They have the assist handles on the docks.

I have not fished there yet. Want to. This gives me a good excuse! My new fishing buddy and I will have to give it a try. Thank you.

Jenkinson is closed for launching , water is too low . Most of the lakes between hwy50 and hwy80 are also closed because of the fires and will not open until the new year . That's lousy as the Crystal Basin Lakes are my favorites .

I lived in the Sacramento area for many years. I spent lots of time in those same lakes. Perhaps if we get better Forrest management from the state and federal governments the fires will lessen.
