After 70 years in Portland it was time to get out. My wife and I are so happy to be in Olympia. I am a retired elementary education teacher. I began fishing again about 15 years ago. I have been on the shore since I sold my Clackacraft about 10 years ago. My home river was the Sandy, located about 15 miles east of Portland where I fished for coho and steelhead. I enjoy playing poker, keeping the lawn in tip top shape, and fishing. My wife and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. I have been a long time member of IFish, but it has become too hateful to make a post any more. I am new to the (fishing) area, but have a freezer full of cured eggs and look forward to finding a place to fish nearby.
