This morning I landed this nice 2.5 pounder on a Zara Spook.
Also landed a couple of other much smaller large mouth bass, 1 small mouth and a pumpkinseed brim.

Nice one Bob. I'm a fan of the Zara spook. Black chrome belly. I've heard SML can fish hard but you did well brother. 👍🎣

Back in the 70’s, I used to fish the Navesink, Shrewsury rivers as well as Sandy Hook bay and down the coast towards Point Pleasant.
More than once we would hit schools of the big ones! Lots of fun!
