Had the opportunity to fish with Fishandrod yesterday in S.D. Bay. Had a great day and we caught 14 spotted sea bass. Nothing big but it was my first of many for that species. Turns out we have a lot in common and are actually the same age. Great to have a new fishing buddy and we will be doing it again.

Hi, Fishandrods here answering for Garey, they’re not something I would eat coming out of the polluted bay. Some people eat them. I have eaten a halibut once but prefer eating fish from a restaurant, catch and release only for me. A really fun day yesterday fishing and talking with Garey we both surfed in the SD. Area in the 60s and enjoyed drinking rum and coke as minors and later when legal!! 14 fish was not the norm because the tide was flat, next time the numbers will be better. Larry W.

Those look sort of like the Convict Bass caught in the kelp beds off the coast.

I don't know Plum but I personally have fished with bout 23 or 24 different guys from the stage. Have enjoyed fishin with everyone of them also. Would do it again any chance I get.
