A buddy and I hit a lake over in Jersey that has always been a good panfish producer. The lake had just had its fall turnover and was brown with suspended algae. We fished it for 4 hours, marked fish but literally had no hits whatsoever. Never in my 65 years has that happened while fishing for panfish. Packed up and launched at another and did okay with some decent crappies. I kept 5 and my buddy kept 3. All decent craps between 11-12.5” but the first lake we fished and caught 0 still blows my mind.

The good 👍 thing is you guys came out with fish 🐠 even so they were not from the first place but by the end of the day all was good 👍

Nice job on the plan "B" Brad! At least you ended the day with a couple meals. Thanks for the picture.

Thanks D, I would have bet 1 million dollars ( if only I had it) that there was no way we couldn’t catch a single panfish at our first lake. Has never happened before and still shocks me.

Not the kind of “first” you want, but a good trip in the end.
