I Can’t Find the Lake!

Hey guys, I have left I just can’t find the lake. No, really what has happened is life. I haven’t had my boat in the water since 7/15. I know it’s sad but I have been helping my wife take care or her mom. My mother in law had major surgery in late July and is have a hard time recovering. I’ve also had to travel for work. Hopefully I will get back to fishing in the next week or so. Keep your fishing adventures and pictures coming. Love them all!

Don’t ignore your own (mental) health. Take a day for yourself. Or if funds permit hire a sitter and take a day or evening with the wife. I know, easier for me to say, but I’ve been there. 🙏

Family comes first, good for you helping out your wife. I hope that means when you do get out, you’re rewarded with some really good fishing.

I found the lake my friends! My oldest son came to my house to grannie sit and my wife and I got out for a day on the water last Friday. We caught a few bass and a Sauger. Here’s a picture of one of my bass. No keeper but it was great being able to get on the water.
