Hello, my name is Sheila. My boyfriend and I have been coming to Freeman Lake every couple weeks in the morning around 8 or 9 and haven't had any luck catching anything. We know there's fish here cause they are jumping and rolling. We've been using red worms. We could use any advice we can get. Thx

Just a thought, top water baits if you are bass fishing. Switch to minnows and if your lake is deep, go down without a float, just a sinker and hook, 20 to 25 feet. Sunrise is around 7:20 am. Any time after that should be good.

is there any shade around the Lake. Its been along time since I've been there? Redworms and crikets are good live bait.

Depends on where you fish at. I like to fish close to the shelter that has restrooms and down from the shelter is a shade tree. That's where I try to get.
