I bounce between Fort Lauderdale and vero beach a lot (parents just moved to Vero and I’ve been helping em move). haven’t done much fly fishing in south Florida. Lots of experience with traditional/bait/spin cast for bass and other species in fresh and salt water, but I’m new to the fly fishing down here. So far, it’s lots of on-foot stuff for me and I don’t mind driving a ways to a good spot, so if you know of any that’d be great. (in the general areas I listed). I have some “secret spots” in the boca Raton and pompano areas from my fish-chasing childhood, but they’re proving to either be ill suited for fly, nor on-foot, and other issues I’ve run into. Happy to talk shop, trade spots, whatever. I like to fish and I like Florida so I’m glad I found a page where we can help each other catch some fish!

Cheers,
-Mason
