This is from last weekend on the Pere Marquette River just west of Green Cottage. We had a wonderful guide & he was surprised there were so many salmon so far up stream this year. We put in at M37 & immediately started see salmon not 1 or 2 but hundreds of them. It was a great day for a 8 hour drift overcast light with light winds. By the end of the the day we got into 22 kings we hooked, 16 were able to spit out the hook 5 broke off from a 20 lb tippet & we landed just the 1 fish you see in the picture above. Good luck.
