Hello
I just move to Georgia in july of 2021 from the west coast. Spent the past 35 yrs fishing the San Francisco Bay area, Northern Oregon, and southen Washington area. I live minutes from lake Allatoona, that I been told is a hard lake to fish. Went to lake lanier a couple of times on a guild boat, excellent fishing, and going over next month to fish lake Hartwell with a guild. In March or April heading over to wiess lake in Alabama for Crappie. Sold my boat for the move, so without a boat for now. If anyone can offer any advice on these lake it would be helpful. Thanks Mike Lawrence

Been some good reports of Striper limits on Hartwell. Good luck and welcome to the South.

Try local tackle shops and radio and TV and local paper for fishing reports. GON magazine is a good source of fishing reports as well as Alabama outdoors news magazine

Spartan charters on Lanier and Nuts n bolts of fishing on Hartwell. Not too far to Clarks hill, Check out Eddie Mason or Ricky Dubose there. I would like to join up with you on one of these trips if we can work it out. <((((><
