Impressive find there Mike. Would make me wonder where it last was. Some campfire waiting for the next days hunt or shot through the air for a tribal ritual of some sort. Either way awesome.

I took a doe with one quite a few years ago my buddy had made out of obsidian with one of my longbows. The shaft was of multi flora rose I cut out back and fletched with a spring gobbler I had taken that Spring. I had taken quite a few deer with my recurves and longbows but that smallish doe is by far the most memorable. Looks like you’re doing some really nice work Mike, would love to see some more pictures of future heads.

I went to flint ridge Ohio and gather some. And I also went to a napp in and purchased some flint.
