Smokey day on Lake Whatcom, Bellingham Washington

Went out on Lake Whatcom this morning at the sunrise for kokanee and it was a bit smokey from a fire north of us at the Canadian border which is about 30 miles north of Bellingham... the lake was a sheet of glass all morning until the water skiers chased me off... managed to get 6 small ones in the bucket.....

Eerie looking morning Jeep. Smoke looks different than fog or haze. Nice Job with the Kokanee. Thanks for the cool pictures.

Thanks. I've been fishing Lake Kachess. Kokanee run about 10" average.
