Hi I'm Brian I fish the S.F. East bay for a very long time. I'm in between boats right now.
I em looking for a aluminum deep V with at least a good 10 horsepower motor. I had one just like that and sold it really cheap so hoping I can find one really cheap. meanwhile I'm fishing off the shore. just wanted to introduce myself and put the boat thing out there. I fish out of Martinez. look forward to some good discussions about fishing or fish stories or boat stories. all right that's it 😀

Hey I’m Darrin and I to also fish east bay ON MY BOAT. 12ft aluminum only with 8 hp Yamaha. Other night means wife went out by treasure island from alameda grand st. Thought I try fishing with a light a “real bright light” I mean really brite, so brite it made a halo about 20ft diameter around boat and water just glowed. But was a bit to much days the officer investigating this glow by treasure island, and made me turn it off. Didn’t get chance to see it work.
I’m not selling my boat but thought you should know that if you a glow it’s me.

Good Luck catching, and finding an affordable boat, too bad you're not lookin' around for it where it's colder. Boat bargains around my parts ( New England) start up in the next few weeks and continue through March. Maybe just a bit of that trend where you are ? Be well & be safe. nutz

Probably I just thought it was funny because didn’t take but 5 minutes for officer to show up, how ever I fish around treasure island a lot lately and haven’t had problems or success on catching anything. Needless to say I will venture other spots to further my findings using a light on bay.

What type boat you got. Mine is a Proline 23 Sport CC. Don't see many Prolines up here

It,s a proline 22w/a, 23 ft 7 in, they don't make it anymore, now they call it a 23 w/a, 2004 with Honda 200 and15 kicker, it has really held up well I really like it, before I bought it I used my 19 ft harber craft in salt, so its a nice move up for me. How do you like yours? You,re right, don't see too many out here.

Love mine. It cuts through the waves like it's butter. IT'S a 2008 but just re powered with 2020 yamaha 150,s
