Hi I’m Steve and live in Centerpoint, LA, that is in the center of Louisiana. I mostly fish in my own pond with my sister, nephews and nieces. I use to fish a good bit all over Louisiana, but since my disabilities, now Parkinson’s, we just fish right here at home, which I am greatful for, thanks to God, I still can. My pond is only about an acre or so, but we have bass, bream, & an occasional catfish. Bass range from about 1/2 lb. to the one I caught a few weeks back that weighed 4 1/2 lbs. We catch and release most of them except the bigger ones. We have fun Just getting together & seeing who can catch the most, and all sizes count, to the biggest. Hope y’all have a good day! Just remember, the worst day of fishing is better that the best day you have to stay in bed! May God Bless each and every one of you.
Welcome Steve, Im Steve too. S of Houston

You go get 'um Steve. Any day fishing is a good day, and if you can still wet a line, you're good to go!
God bless and may you have many more good days at the pond.
Thank you, and to you as well!
Hi Steve, another Steve here from so. Cal. No private acre ponds in my neck of the woods but it is agreed that any day fishing beats most other days. Welcome.
One of my better days with my Basset “Ginger” she loves to go fishing too!

Hello Steve from west Alabama. I also have some disabilities & it’s often a challenge for me to fish but I go as often as I can. If I were you I’d reverse my catch & release policy. Release the larger ones & keep the smaller ones. Anything over 11/2-2 lbs catch & release.
Fishing fun for all! Welcome to FS! Only fish for keepers n release others! Something good for dinner please is all we need!
Hi Steve I too am fairly new to the site I am from nw. Michigan and like to go out on lake Michigan Manistee port and Chase king salmon. There are several private ponds and had the privilege to fish one or two. And it was a pleasure.
Hi Steve! I’m going through great lengths to reach you directly! Please keep this as private as possible at first. My phone number is 936-402-2207. I’ve been blocked on AncestryDNA and FB! I just want to talk. I don’t want anything except to talk. I truly hope this finds you well!! I prayed for you and your family during Hurricane Laura And hope you all are well!

My four sons absolutely LOVE to fish! My 6 year old loves how big your fish is! Two days ago he caught a large bowfin but they usually catch bass and catfish. They have also caught gar and a gator once.

Welcome Steve to the knuckleheads club. Actually, it is FS but made up of knuckleheads who know fishing, jokes and assorted topics. Nice pic. I do in-home care and have had clients with Parkinson's. Most wouldn't been able to fish. It's great you are able to enjoy the sport.
