Yeah Steve, last nights news said it was getting near Tahoe. Be careful out there buddy. If it starts heading too close, grab Sue and get out of dodge. I saw that a couple was killed in their car, trying to flee. Be vigilant my friend.

Thanks guys for the concern. We're all too familiar with this. Have had to evacuate a couple of times. If we had been in Tahoe at the time of last year's fire we would have had to evacuate for a third time.
Our trouble right now is we don't have a TV, just our phones. So it's hard to find out any information on what's goin on locally.
Thanks again for all the prayers and concerns. Hopefully we'll be leavin tomorrow, Friday, to head down the hill. 👍

I just looked up the fire online and found an ABC 10 story that says it showed extreme fire behavior on Wednesday and quadrupled in size. Hopefully it stays away from you, but be careful. Hope this helps

Almost 7000 acres zero containment it appears that they have tried to circle the fire with retardant and bulldozers on the lower end
Probably stuck with it for the next week
