There is supposed to be a good bite in the pit river and squaw creek arm where the water is a little cooler

Yes, Several reliable sources have told me the bite is excellent on the Pit and the Squaw out of Lake Shasta especially for bass and cats and especially at night, preferably a full moon.. Not too far out of Shasta though (u 60's guys catch that one? 'Far Out Man') I fished the Pit last night in Mcarthur from approx 8p-2a.. lotsa bites, nothing to throw on the grill though. Headed to the lake either tonight or tomorrow night..*fingers crossed*
