I am from minn, live in se minn, but have a place on osakis. And have also fished on mill lacs, leech, miltona, cedar, miss river pool 4 and alot of the faribault area lakes
I grew up fishing all around Minnesota. My home town is New London, Minnesota. I fished lakes from Diamond, Green, Nest and Norway lakes. As well as the crow river in town, which in the the 60's would give up 1 lb gills on a fly rod. I fished Minnesota Valley In-Fisherman club outings/ tournaments for 15 yrs. In 1999 I started guiding, two summers on Mille Lacs lakes, Mississippi River down town Minneapolis to Lake Pepin. Fishing the St. Croix for walleyes and Smallmouth bass. In 2003, I moved to Buffalo, MN, So now I spend more time fishing lakes of wright county and Lake Minnetonka. But I still go back to those early days of fishing Green, Andrew and Norway.
I owner / operator of Jiggin Jim's guide service. in 2010, I began doing taxidermy, after clients caught 10 master angler award fish. Ryks Taxidermy. I am always improving my services whether fishing or Taxidermy.
Annandale, MN here . Have about 20 lakes within about 20 min. Have a small Jon boat and heard lots of good things about many of the lakes around here. I am still kinda new to the fishing stuff and am just wondering what everyone is getting fish on? I love crappie , bass and northern. Wanna try walleye. But my luck this yr is me 0 fish 10000. I have not caught anything worth keeping . Also anyone have any lakes they suggest ? Out of my family of 4 I am the only one that will clean, cook and eat them😥
Babywolfie76, What length is your Jon boat? Do you have a motor? gas or electric? I could help get get you on a walleye bite in the area. Does your boat have lights for night fishing? What is your experience in boating?

Looks like the state of Minnesota is under represented on this form. So I guess I would just like anyone from Minnesota to make a quick response to see how many minnesotans we have.
Hi Norski:
Just a "newbie" to the forum from Baxter Mn registering his first reply and interested in seeing other Minnesotans responding to roll call. Since moving to the Brainerd area, I've totally enjoyed most of the surrounding lakes as well as the BWCA and Lake Vermillion. I would have to say I most thoroughly enjoy bass fishing and always come up short & frustrated when fishing for the elusive walleye...just can't seem to get it right.
I'm looking forward to hearing tips from the veteran fishermen & women who have learned how to catch the prized fish.
