Good morning, G'Man and all.
54* now, 72* later, a little wind, no rain forecasted. A good day is on the way.
Freezing tomatoes today and that will be the end of them. The raspberries are just getting started. The mason bees are buzzing like crazy. It's just noisy among them while you are picking. Going to start to get the place ready to sell, going to a condo in Caledonia, if we can find one, or LaCrescent if we can't find one in Caledonia.
Have a good one.
Where you moving? Is that in the same state? Not familiar. Big changes, eh?

We have had only one good rain here in quite a while also. My grape tomatoes are the size of peas and cukes are light green to yellow. My romas that grew to size got eaten by chipmunks , little suckers!!

Wife makes a solution of vinegar, water and sugar. Slices up the cucumbers and let them soak in a bowl in the refrigerator.
Makes a nice cool salad on a hot day.

It also works to add carrots and jicama. Yum

Well... my morning didn't go anyway near what was planned.... the Wifey was sleeping late so I thought I'd throw a load of my work clothes in the washer. I proceeded to start making sausage gravy for over some biscuits when I heard the loud thud!
I went as fast as I could to the back just in time to see that the washer was off balance, pitchin' a fit, and threw the jug of detergent in the floor. With my perfect timing, I arrived in the room just as the jug which was posed perfectly upside down with its lid broken off making its last glue as it emptied.. and yes folks, that's carpet on the floor....
I stood there and had a brief conversation with the washer ( were no longer on speaking terms ) and decided that with that much soap, I might as well clean the entire floor. I added a few buckets of water and used a squeegee to spread it around, and then started with the carpet scrubber..now I understand the purpose of defoamer in your detergent... I must have emptied that foam filled container at least 50 times!
On a good note, the room now smells mountain fresh, and my laundry is done.. I'm thinking it's 5 o'clock somewhere.. I need a beer!!

Isn't life fun Doug? Remember Rose Ann Roseannadanna from SNL? She would say "it's always something, if it isn't this, it's that" ....
Don't wait until 5, that isn't a hard and fast rule for a drink.
