Morning, Andy. I'm not sure of how it works either. I'm a firm believer in if it works, don't fix it. Maybe someone on here will jump on and explain it to us. It could be a good thing.

andy when you opened a post in your state ( Md ) did you notice that it is somewhat highlighted.
When i opened this up and you and i being from the same state your post is highlighted informing me that someone in my state posted. I believe it might be the same for others in their like states.
I do not believe there is a particular state only posting available on this site. You might want to check in with Admin for the real answer. However there are other web sites around that do that, but as you know country wide here.

What's the matter Andy, don't like our company?
I suppose you could go to your profile page and unsubscribe from all the other sections except location specific. It wouldn't only be Md though.

You sign up for the area/states on this site you are interested in following. Then whenever someone posts a thread from your states you receive it in your email from the stage.
I follow California and Nevada. Every time someone posts about fishin there it shows up in my Location-Specific section.

On the opening page of the digest where all your new topics are listed omn your email there is a little notice that list it on my page. It says what state you are subscribed to and then if you want to add/change.
