We went out for about 4 hours today, caught gills and bass but nothing picture worthy. Trolling motor didn't seem to be running right so I put my charger on the first battery, it had a 75% charge. Put it on the second battery, showed 40% but only 6 volts!

Called my motor fixing guy up here and he sent me to one of his friends. $127 each. Stopped by a True Value on the way back, same battery was $159! I call that a score.

Installed the batteries then it was time to get the fryer going. Fried things that puffed up kinda like a churro, onion rings and fish. Had a great meal. May do it again this week.

All of us minus middle daughter.

Morning, Myron.

Everything is looking good, the food, the family, the smiles on their faces. Do those knife sharpens work very well? I have a couple of them around that I found that were left in fish cleaning shacks, but I have never used them. Keep us posted, buddy. Have a good day. Tight lines.

Fine looking spread and family Iowa Farmer. I notice some cukes that appear to be covered with a vinegar solution and sugar, absolutely delicious and here I thought that was a Pennsylvania Dutch thing. Enjoy the rest of your of your vacation.

If the oil temp was finicky - maybe it needs a new battery also - I know that was bad but couldn’t resist after the trolling motor episode. Have a great time and eat well. From the pics the eating will be fantastic!! Enjoy the vacation with family.

They are okay sharpeners. I have a Chef's Choice Electric I use at home.
