I was too young for Woodstock ‘69, but knew of it, and knew the music. The premise was sound, a peaceful gathering for peace and protest during troubling times considering the war in Viet Nam and all the race riots and violence here.
The original Promoter tried to recreate the festival in ‘94, but that was a disaster. I barely remember hearing about that one as my kids were 2 and 4 so this was not in my “wheelhouse” at the time.
Well, the same Promoter tried again in ‘99 and tried to do it at a decommissioned Air Force base and it went horribly wrong. Unfortunately, the kids from those who may have been at the original Woodstock showed up and tried to “raise the bar” on stupidity and protest against what appeared to be a big money grab by the Promoters.
Definitely worth watching if you get the chance to see it on Netflix.

Good morning, John. I'm not a big tv fan except for sporting events and a few sitcoms.

No problem Leo, I watched it out of curiosity and couldn’t turn it off as it was like watching a train wreck due to greed, arrogance and shock.

I remember that one in 94 OJ. My sister had tickets to the eagle's (hell freezes over tour) an it was the same weekend so me an my wife bought those tickets from her so she could go to Woodstock. We had a blast the eagle's was awesome. Jill my sister Borrowed our tent for that weekend an it rained an ended up using my tent for a trap to try an stay out of the mud 😑 needless to say my tent was ruined 😳
The Eagles were more my style…good choice! Saw them in ‘77 along with Pablo Cruise and Steve Miller during their Hotel California Tour. Great show!

Same thing here in 99. Step daughter borrowed out tent and on the way out drug it behind them. Too many holes to fix.

Interested to see what you think of it, or what she has to say about it, regarding accuracy of the documentary…if she has a chance to see it.

Mine had holes and red clay stains that would not come out Gordon. It was a nice cabin tent too. I wasn't real happy with her 😳
