Just wondering if anyone has tried using salmon and trout "flashers" in trolling for stripers? Have had limited sucess with them, curious about the setup.

I have not tried them. When you compile your results, send us photos and reports. Are you fishing for freshwater or saltwater Stripers?

We troll WAY too fast to use flashers out here in California.
Just had an awesome day trollin the Petaluma River with BIG 1OZ Spro lures. Similar to a Rattle Trap lure.
Were trollin up to bout 5+ mph.

HEY, thanks for the replies, I am fishing fresh water, land locked, Smith Mountain Lake VA, I usually use live bait, ales or gizzards, and troll about .8 -.9 kinda slow I know, but the live bait can' take much faster. The flashers say 1.2-1.5 that is too fast with live bait. I will let you know with pics( i hope).
