The weather was great, so I decided to go to a small pond that I hadn't fished for a while. The pond has lots of LMB, but they are mostly small. No matter, I just wanted to relax. First picture was what greeted me upon my arrival. It opened up a bit around the bend, but weedless lures were the order of the day. Second picture is typical of what I caught. I ended up catching (and releasing) about a dozen.

Yeah that's a salad bar for sure Tuboshu. Definitely a nice place to relax and catch a few. Thanks for sharing.

Yes. It was called a Pack canoe when bought it. I think they call it a Discovery 12 now.

Wow tuboshu, I'm salivating just looking at the photos! Were you throwing frogs or punching?

I must admit, I'm lousy at froggin'. I do use a frog, but mostly as a search bait. When I miss the fish, which is most of the time, I follow up with something else. In this case I was using Sluggos and Swimming Senkos.
