If you ever learn how to avoid the bait stealers please inform the rest of us,I have been fishing for 60 years and still haven't figured it out. The only way I know is to use artificial lures

Try local tackle shops for bait information and guide references. Listen to local TV and Radio fishing reports as well as read them in local papers get a copy of Woods and Water magazine lots of guides give fishing reports there. Stay away from internet reviews especially if they are all 4.0. friends and family can make a guy sound like captian Ahab
