Brookville is just south of you. Great place if you have a boat. Also White Water State Park it is trolling motors only
I'll try them out..thank you !
Fishing has-been slow for about 2 weeks Starting to pick up as nights cool off. If you have a boat hit Whitewater or Middlefork. Later in September Summit and Prarie Creek. Two trips to Whitewater this week netted about 20 Crappie and 2 small bass.
Summit Lake, Summit Lake State Park. Good ramp, plenty of parking, idle speed only
Summit has-been a good Bass lake in the spring. Looking forward to trying fall fishing for Walleye.
Good morning, I just saw your post, have you checked out Brookville lake, it is south of you but a nice place to do some good fishing, we used to go down there alot. Great crappie fishing in the spring. Lots of cover and underwear structure for different fish. It's a big lake and I have not been there for quite a long time, it will take you some time to learn lake, great place for a boat...
I tried middlefork last night... caught several crappie and 2 nice channel cats. I think I'll try Brookville in 2 weeks . Someone said to wait until after labor day because of rec boaters but thinking I'll try Mount Summit or Whitewater this week. THANK YOU ALL I GREATLY
GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ... THANK YOU ALL AGAIN !!!!
Fished it for 25 yrs
I think I have caught almost every type of fish in that lake except Muskie. Great spring and fall lake but summer is too much fiberglass floating around.

Middle fork resv or Brookville resv are in your backyard. Though I don’t know about either. We are near Indy and new here and still learning too.
Brookville is better fall fishing.

You can try Brookville Lake 20 miles south of you. Summit State Park 40 miles just a little north and east of New Castle and Prairie Creek Park south of Muncie and just north of Summit State Park.
Wow Brookville is big...any suggestions on good spots on Brookville?
