Hey, new to this site and I can see there’s a lot of good chats and ideas. I’m looking for info and tips on Lake Mozingo in northwest missouri. From what I’ve read there some good size and quantity of walleye and bass. Anybody out there had any experience there. Thanks to all. Paul D.

If everything goes the way I hope, I’m going to try it out in mid October. I read good things on the size and population of walleyes. I’ll post the good or the bad when I go.

As a fisherman in a pretty dry Southern California, I can offer no help re: your target.
I will say Prepare & Research before you show up. This is a great forum in that effort; but only one of many.
Don't discount doing a YouTube search of your lake.
You have to Google search the issue.
My 2 and only cents.

Good advise sawheeler52. I have done some so far and I’m hoping someone here lights it up. The lake is long and relatively deep. 40’ and 1000 acres. Local Midwest mag said it’s rated really high on 10 lbs plus walleyes. I’m still mending from a fall off of my boat trailer that shattered my hip so I have tried to target interesting lakes so when I come out swinging I’ll hopefully be in luck! Google sounds like it could be good help so I will try that in the morning. I’ll probably even look at you tube if by chance might have a video. I like your thoughts as a little planning can make a difference. Thank you and I’ll let you know how it goes!

If you already have or can download the MO Fishing app, you can see under the lake search Maryville (Mozingo Lake) a map of the lake with locations of fish attractors, boat ramps and fishing docks. I've never fished there but now you have me interested.

Welcome fellow Missourian!
Looking forward to how you do in that corner of the state. I hear a lot of good chatter about central and southwest. I have visited those areas, but east and southeast is my territory. Looking forward to updates and pictures.
