Klamath Bite......mouth, etc.
Spoke to a CDFW counter at Klamath Glen. His exact words were, " the bite at the mouth is dismal". Not good words to hear from someone who counts. Most action seems to come by way of boat, trolling. For what it's worth.
It's bad to hear but thanks for the input!
Klamath Glen producing the most.

Hi and thanks again for the info. Do you live in Klamath and did you know Gary Farley? Gary was a guide on the Klamath River and I fished with him for 30 years. He was killed in a boating accident about 3 years ago. I haven't fished the Klamath since. Are you talking the run above the boat launch at the Glenn or the general area? There should be a fair number of Steelhead in the river in that area right now as well. I've fished the Klamath since I was a kid. Usually fished from the 101 Bridge up to Johnsons. We used to camp up at the gravel bar next to Pecquan Creek. (don't mind the misspelling). Thats when the salmon runs were huge before the commercial fishing began at the Mouth. There were also a lot of huge Sturgeon in the lower river. (Weitchpec and below) I could go on and on about my fishing experiences on the Klamath. I've also taken my kids up for years. Let's keep in touch and share some stories.
