Don't know about inshore but I do know there's fish on the beach and off the fishing pier on the old bridge.

Hey Howard, My wife and I are retired and live in piedmont, NC. We love to offshore fish on Charters, but like you said, if you don't have 4 or 6 it's very expensive. If you are trying to put together a charter from the Carolinas or the bay area, let us know. We may be able to join in. Our son lives in Newport News and we've always wanted to go out to catch those big rock fish, but it's too much. I'm kind of new on here, but I figure there's someway to message each other. We do love to go around Oriental, NC this time of year and catch those big bull drum, but that cost has almost doubled in the last few years, so we don't go every year. If you've not done that, u
