I'm fishing a local tournament trail this weekend here never fished it before and advice on this lake would be much appreciated

I use to do pretty good on this body of water 12-15 yrs ago. A hit or miss place for me was go all the way up river where it narrows. There was a shoot to the right ( not recommended) to shallow, but the one to the left would always be hit or miss. Shad raps #5 black & silver always good color any where on that body of water. As you go up that shoot about half way there's another shoot off to right and a big rock under water at that intersection that use to be money. Small flipping baits. Venom's better beaver's, 3 in. dream craws. Don't over look the bridges. Depending on water levels when low center bridge columns were good, but fish them all.

Thanks for the info headed there tomorrow morning fingers crossed I do good practice up there last week found a few decent fish but no winners by any means will definitely try those spots you talking about thx

Well I came in 9th out of 30 I found plenty of fish but not many that would weigh in the guy that won it had 5 for 9.9 lbs lol he fishes there every other week but hey it was fun thanks again for the info. Now we move on to dillon lake in Zanesville area that one will be tough too got any suggestions there haha
